It has been a week since I came to Vancouver! It is a very nice city, and the people are very nice. Everyone on the bus will give up their seat to an elderly, and people will say thank you to the bus driver when leaving. Much different from Toronto. The biggest difference to me is the MOUNTAINS! The first thing I saw when I landed was MOUNTAINS! I was like WOW. What a nice view! But the bad part is that the weather so far hasn’t been the best. It has been raining like every day. Vancouver doesn’t pour like Toronto but it just showers. That is not too bad once you get use to it. But people keep telling me that during the summer, the weather is beautiful. That is one thing I can’t wait! I have been exploring the city, haven’t seen much of the city yet. Since I will be here for a while, I can take my time and explore all the attraction sites!

Besides all the fun stuff to do in Vancouver, I came here to do my co-op! Starting at a new(relatively speaking) company. It is called Indochino. They make custom suits. I will be working as a back-end developer. Like all co-ops, first week is always the hardest because I have to understand the code. Lots to do! I am looking forward to working as a back-end once again! The best part is that I get to use a Macbook! Perhaps when the weather is better, I can take it outside and code! Code while facing the ocean! How cool will that be?

On a final note, I passed all my courses from last term! Got higher marks than expected! So happy! Only one term left! I am officially done all my PD courses and finished all work term reports! Now I can relax after work. Nothing to worry about expect for food!
